Anyone got a checkmend account?

The type you can check online if a phone is barred, or blocked by entering its IMEI number etc.?

As many of you know, Im still in the market for an 8GB N95, and with the worrying amount of Insurance fraud on ebay, even buying a phone sealed in its box is no safe purchase, so if anyone has a checkmend account, could you pm me please.? If not, I will have to bite the bullet and pay for an account myself, which if I do, i would be happy to help anyone else who wishes to check if a phone is blocked/barred etc.

EDIT - Just checked, you have to pay per report, unless you have an unlimited account, which is Trade Only afaik.

EDIT2 - Not too expensive, £2.99 per check, which seams reasonable. You also don't need to be registered Trade. Looking into setting up an account if theres enough interest here?

Looking into it Calamity, chatting to a phone shop owner over on AAS right now. maybe a good investment for N95Users. I don't mind helping others. After all, I have found so much help on here since registering, i think its only fair to put something back for our members.

Hi, just to let you know CheckMEND 'trade' account is such only because that's who they think would be interested in it. In fact the vat number and co number are optional at registration and they only thing 'trade' about it is a minimum £25 worth of checks purchased at registration. At the moment though you get 50 checks for this so paying only £0.50 instead of £2.99 for your first fifty checks and only £1 per check after that.

Of course... reselling checks is against the terms and all your certificates will have the account holders details on so giving them away becomes awkward too but if you may check several phones in future (the credits never expire) it's a good deal.

Declaration... I work for the parent company but this isn't an advert, I just want to put right the misunderstanding about trade accounts. I'll pass on the confusion and perhaps the web guys will modify the website.
