Over here in OZ, you have to top up every month with most carriers. Say you get a $100 prepaid 'voucher' (you already have the sim) which gives you $1000 credit on this particular carrier, if you dont use all of that credit and you DONT 'top up' within 30 days of activating the 'voucher' you lose whatever credit you didnt use.

I swear, this whole distinction AT&T has between internet on a "regular phone", "smartphone" tethering, and so on, really makes me furious, because websites look the same, they claim it's different, personally I do a combination of both viewing web pages on my N95-3, and tethering to my laptop, not 100% tethering. I'm guessing those terms and conditions they have is to protect against super excessive use of people who download tons of music over limewire, or whatever other websites.

Btw, have you noticed that web browsing using the usb cable tethering is way, way slower than web browsing right on the phone itself? It really frustrates me that it's not the same speed. On my n95-3 I use Opera Mini 4.2 for most of my web browsing.

I wonder if this move, by O2, will result in non tethering tariffs being blocked or costing more than regular Data?

It's Broke?

Did you know that your Nokia comes with a 2 year warranty? Did you know that Carphone Warehouse are Nokia Repair Centres?
Damage from normal use: wobbly slider, broken keys, quiet earpiece etc... will be repaired for free, and usually the same day if you take it to a big store!
