I think you all can keep dreaming about Nokia releasing a battery cover to get the new battery in the old N95. It's just not something I see them doing by any stretch of the imagination. You MIGHT see a 3rd party solution, but I seriously doubt it.

yeah, it's somewhere in the 'n95users forum', and since im so mad about that accessory ive posted so many replies and quotes about this lol.
However, I certainly wont by a BL-6F battery and have it uncovered only with a crystal case to keep in place, it looks realy ridiculous.
But IF this accessory will be sold im assuming it will be made by nokia or an OEM accessory and would be sold in the new nokia flagship store here in london and wherever they have nokia flagship stores. I REAALLY hope this accessory will be confirmed.
And just one question, just curious about how the BL-6F battery will fit in the original n95 when theres like a curve from the camera lens sort of covering the very slight top of the battery compartment, if the battery fits entirely in then the battery isnt different in size at all from the original BL-5F battery isnt it?

Mobile City Online has it for $60.

Does that seem a fair price?

Not to me. Maybe the price is inflated until other retailers start selling it. Once we see if all over, I can't imagine it'd be selling for that price. The $90 MSRP is silly, too.

Funny, I just got the N95-3, and I tried putting it's battery into my old N95-1, I couldn't get it to fit...wonder how he did it.

You can take off the entire back pretty easily.
Once you get the back off, you can put the BL-6F in easily.
Putting the back on again is kinda hard, but its possible.
The BL-6F is a very tight fit.
