Default N75 problems

Ok so I bought my girl the N75, AT&T version, and she's been saying it randomly locks up and then completely restarts. Anyone have any knowledge or advice on how to fix this?

Welcome to the wonderful world of Series 60!

You could try doing a hard reset on the phone (backup contacts first obviously) or check if there is an updated firmware available. If neither of those sort it out, then take it back.

Unfortunately this is not an uncommon complaint when it comes to N Series phones...

thanks, I did end up returning the phone, luckily I was at day 28 out of 30 for unquestioned returns. Seems to be that AT&T has their own brand of FW on that one so if the new phone does it then I'll unbrand and then try to update the FW.

While we're on the topic does anyone know if the N75 supports 8Gb Micro SDHC?? Just ordered one for my N95 and wondering if the N75 supports one also

S60v3 only supports regular SD cards.
The 2GB limit for the N73, N75, N80 and N93 wont change.

S60v3 FP1 and FP2 support SDHC cards.
When the N95 came out, there were only 2GB cards on the market. The "limit" now is 8GB. That's the limit Nokia is putting on new phones like the 6210 and N78. But we know it will support 12, 16 and 32 GB cards eventually.

Adam she actually doesn't have the phone anymore, returned it and the second one died a week later, the microphone just stopped working so took that one back and got a cheap phone. She didn't want or need all the stuff on the N75 I was just being nice. A friend of ours has the N75 as well and doesn't like it at all.
