N95 Messaging grief

Hi all.
My daughter is having problems with her 95. (UK o2)
It wont send messages.
It puts them in the sent messages box with a 'will resend at such and such a time' message. It tries again but usually doesn't send.
On the occassions it does send it sends 5 or 6 of the same message.
She has the latest firmware from Nokia, she has been to the shop and they said the settings were wrong and they changed them but it is still doing the same.
We have formatted the card and returned the phone to factory settings, all to no avail, any clues?

We have a much larger N95 forum at N95users.com/forums- you might be able to find the answer there. Unfortunately, I don't personally have experience with your particular issue.

Open Messaging and go into the settings.
Try changing the text messaging preffered connection from GSM to packet data

You could also try going MENU>TOOLS>SETTINGS WIZARD and set up for your operator settings

Worth checking also that she is not either closing the phone prior to the message sending or hitting the red button as I was doing recently - I was experiencing exactly the same issue.
