Nokia N86 Photo - 8MP handset - Now Confirmed Genuine (Data Sheet on Page 4)

Unsure about its source at this time, could well be fake.

My bet - fake. Apart from that, I thought N8x was supposed to be its gaming range?

Mind you, they have thought about it. Adding a little satellite icon for geotagged pictures. Clever if its a fake!

Since its obviously not touch, or possibly touch with keypad - like the newly annoumced navigator - thats still amassive watse of potential screen space where the dpad and other buttons are.

well the design fits in with the n8. series dosent it mickey , it looks like it could easily be a n80something

hard to say wether its genuine or not

someone might have got carried away with the 8mp exif info and started photoshopping possible designs etc

but then again wasnt there rumors of a n85 big brother with improoved specs like onboard memory as well as micro sd , xenon flash etc iam sure it was part of the roadmap thing

if that was true then maybe this all ties intogether and the n86 could be true

be nice to hear something from nokia soon :-) as everyone imaginations seems to be going wild on the internet with this exif data from an 8mp nokia handset

That was a refresh, that's pretty much a redesign.

depends what size battery they have in it if its real bart , if its a small battery then a oversized screen would literally be a killer on the battery it could be a bit off ying and yang small handset size small battery smaller screen to balance it out or i suppose they could have used an oled big screen to save battery power , who knows , thats if its even true lol

1st impressions to me when i looked at the picture was n85 look alike or n81 look alike so allthough its a re design it still looks similar to the n85 to me , infact very much like the n85 (witha 5800 lip)

its probably just a photoshop though espeacially with all the hype flying round the net

N82 was far from a gaming device.

You must be joking, N series is all about bigger screens. Bigger the better! Personally, I'd like to see OLED screens in all Nokias, especially touchscreens (as they are bigger and take more power when on).

The screen on the 5800 is by far good enough for me, but the extra batterylife potential...

Yes please.

And the 5800 battery, thats a high capacity one, and isn't that big.
