Nokia N95 SIP problem
Hi, I have searched the forum to try to find a thread with somebody having a similar problem as me but with no luck.
I am trying to use my mobile phone to call using SIP. I have manged to setup a SIP profile using Freecall. I am able to place calls, the phone rings but when the recipient picks up the phone I cannot hear them and they cannot hear me. I thought it might be the connection as I was using 3G but after switching to WLAN I still have the same problem. I installed the Fring application on my phone and strangely I have been able to use my Freecall account to call people but I am not happy with the quality which doesn't match the quality I get when I use Freecall from my pc. Any ideas? MY SIP settings are the following: Profile name: Freecall Service Profile: IETF Default access point: Belkin54G Public user name: sip:chdamianos@sip.voiparound.com Use compression: No Registration: When needed Use Security: No Proxy Server: None Registrar server: Registrar server address: sip:sip.voiparound.com Realm: sip.voiparound.com User name: chdamianos Password: ******** Transport type: UDP Port: 5060 |
