Real good question i think

Do you think the N86 is more of a worthy upgrade to N95 and if you have N95 8gb or N96 is it worth upgrading?

Hi sam !

Well this is a hard qweston , I would say if you have have a new N95 or the N96
I belive it's not worth it .
Main diffrence are faster speed in the phone , and nice design (not big)
The camera in the N86 is fantastic for be a cell phone
( almost like a real digtal camera )
and the speed when take pics are awsome !
( when you have take a pic it be there with immediate effect )
You also get a device lifetime global walk navigation and yes one full N-Gage game..-)

To the qweston I say if you have a N95 from 2007 then it's worth upgrade
but not if you have a new one like your N96 .
Then I belive better wait for the next level , or get the best you can get for the
value of the money > the 5800 Tube if not the camera play an important part .

Yeah i was actually asking because my cousin has N95 8gb and he loves the N86 but i said to him it wasnt really worth it if you were looking for something at the next level however i wasnt sure i was right hence why i asked you (N86 owner!)..

I love my N96 a hell of alot just wish carphone warehouse would hurry up with release v20!

Because downsides to my N96

is the crashing... its crashes alot when using wifi
the Realplayer streaming bug
charging it practically everyday!

other then that N96 is a awesome phone

I dont like 5800 as much as i thought i was going to... slightly disappointed by it to tell you the truth

N86 is a phone i see myself enjoying.. however the camera i must admit it takes amazing pictures i wish i had that camera on N96 then it would of been the upgrade to N95!

Ive also got the special Black N96 which i prefer more to the "Quartz" N96

I like the indigo colour on N86
I love the new icons which i thought N96 was gonna have being a FP2 phone...


One minor suprising thing is no tv cable with N86...

Ok Thanks man, No way im getting rid of my N96 just yet probs have it for a while more yet after selling my n95 8gb it made me realise how stupid i was

thanks tommie. may i knw whts the usual size of the pictures u take? i mean, in kb's? is it around 700-900kb or more? if im nt mistaken, the n95 has a high compression rate, resulting in a lower quality photo. so is the n86 plagued by the same thing as well?

The N86 have a considerable improvement of the pics size ,
the most be from 1MB to 2MB and some in 3MB

This I take today

Denmarks house in Stockholm ofcorse 2MB

This one little fun , open the carwindow and shoot in aprox 70km and the result 1MB

This one in little slower speed about 30km also 1MB

In the garden some hour ago , the size be 3MB

Here you find the orginal Nokia N86 8MP Indigo - a set on Flickr, and you can cheek " all size"

thanks tommie! great pics by the way! 3mb? wow. quality must have been fully perserved and not tampered with.. have u tried comparing the pics taken by your and n86 with pics taken by your n95 on the computer? is there a major difference?
