To me it looks as though the phone has swome sort of transparent case, which may account for the oval shape...

No N82 announcement today then, pah!

It doesn't matter so much really though, I wont be making the mistake I did with the N95, and running out to buy it the moment it comes out. I'll let some other schmuck beta test it for me...

Yes I saw that story aswell. I'm certainly glad that it will have a 3.5 mm audio jack, because that wasnt apparent from the first picture. I think overall the device looks nice, but they could still make the key cluster and camera look a little nicer. I hope it has triband HSDPA...btw the sample pic is of dubai.

I agree- don't like the keypad.

I'll be out in Finland next week to speak with N82 project managers. If you have any questions you'd like asked of them- please let me know!

Hey pseaudo congrats on both having a child and getting Nokia to fly you all over the place. Make sure to bring me back a n82 if you can swing it. Or at least ask these questions:

Q: "Is the Nokia N82 triband 3G compatible?"
A: If "yes", your finished, otherwise;
Q: "Why isn't the N82 triband 3G compatible?"

Q: "Will the north american varient of the n82 be launching simultaneously with the world version?"
A: If "there is no north american version" then;
Q: "But you have to have an 3H 850/1900 version for us americanos"
If "yes its launching at the same time" then your finished
If "it may come out some time down the road" then;
Q: "but the n95-3 has been so successfull, doesn't nokia want a greater share of the north american market"

Basically pester them into making a 3G compatible version.

And there are more n82 pics.
