N81 8GB USB connection not working

Both my Mac and my windows PC do not regonize the phone, nor does the phone say its connected. it used to work fine, i checked the settings on the phone on USB connecting and its all OK .

Bluetooth works fine. but hell of alot slwoer than USB i miss it dearly : (

Have there been any updates for your phones firmware recently?
May pay to check that out.
Also, have you tried using a different USB slot on your PC?
