Yes the devices look "black" even if it have blue stripes , I vote the red one
like our 5610 Xpressmusic wich comes in blue or red and it dont look to be
girl or boy models . The red 5610 Xpressmusic phone look real good in real.
But its personal preference like you say pseudofinn

I think I'll try to get for my GF one of the first 250 limited edition red ones to be sold on Jan 23rd at the London flagship store. Since I won't be able to give it to her immediately I will have have to test it extensively, of course.

If I like it I might get me a black one, although the blue one from the Nokia online shop will cost me 40+ quid less (5% cashback).

I'll probably get the expansys one actually. I figure black has a much better resale price (though probably not £30 worth), and of course if the date is right I can get it a month earlier.

Odd to notice that the price is about 100 less than the red and blue versions exspansys sell.

Remember Bart, this is Expansys that you're talking about, they're not exactly famed for publishing accurate delivery dates! ;)

Fair point.

And on that note, is it wise to pre-order from Nokia, in case they sell out quick like they did with the N85?

Do Nokia take payment on your pre-order prior to despatch and if not, is there an option to cancel the order easily if you locate a better source?

I'm very wary of pre-ordering, unless there's an option to cancel without payment.
