I know a lot of you have been waiting for it like I have... I nearly missed it on the main page today, but GSMArena finally gives us a detailed 5800 review! :)

Interesting notes I read....

a two piece handsfree. It's 3.5mm on either end so you can easily replace the provided headset without sacrificing the remote.

Handy!! The bundled headsets are always crap, but now you can use your own earphones and still have a remote.

On the other hand, sensitivity to fingers is quite adequate but slightly short of the, say, HTC Touch Diamond, which uses the same touchscreen technology.

This is my main concern, and I really hope I get along with it. Its the reason im buying one to try out, its something very personal how you get along with a certain touchscreen.

That earpiece problem is worryingly high.

Im sorry, Im not usually an iphone basher, I beleive that you really should choose a phone that makes you happy. But for it to so trounce it on music quality really does say a lot against Apples apperently unshakable music quality claim.

Im really really annoyed it doesnt have an FM transmitter.

The pictures look awful, even for a 3mp cam. Hopefully solved by firmware.

Nokia Maps is still cack.



That review is one of the best I have ever read. Very real world while going into detail, and pretty much telling you everything you actually want to know. It also didnt stop with just the handset, they had found out about the earpeice problem, and fixes.

Brilliant stuff.

That earpiece problem is worryingly high.

I had the problem but it REALLY easy to fix and takes only a moment. Although, yes, it shouldn't be like it in the first place.
