UK 5800s - what firmware and is it updateable?

Can those with UK versions post which firmware they have, and if they can update to anything?

And if so, which method of updating worked?

Cheers.

I have v10.0.010 on my handset and have managed to update to using OTA to v11.0.0.8 no problems.
And also my product code does indeed match the one in the thread I posted earlier.

v 10.0.010 - Can update to 11.0.008 (downloaded OTA) but am reluctant to do so as I don't yet know if it's a keeper!

I have a pre-order (online UK Nokia shop) 5800 with product code "0575581" and I'm stuck on firmware V.10.0.010.

I've tried over the air and Nokia Update Service and both says I have the latest firmware.

Nokia's 'Can I update?' page on their site says my product code should be able to get v.11.0.008

They are shut until Monday so I can't find out what is happening!

I was told that mine was updated in-store, maybe it's just a matter of NSU catching up with the release of the firmware for the product code.

The guys also said they suspect a new one might come out pretty soon.

Those that have updated to v11... Did you spend any time using 10 first? I'm interested to know if you feel there has been any actual improvement?

I know there's the changelog but I'm curious from an actual user perspective.

The major difference I noticed was the sensitivity of the accelerometer in rotating the screen. It was always rotating when I didn't want it to in v10 but that seems fixed in v11. Other than that I don't see too much change, its sounds like its more under the hood changes then anything.
