The 5900 - 5800 wishlist
Lets have the 5800, but with a few changes.
No lip on the outer edge, or at least make it tapered so dust doesn't gather. Give it an FM transmitter. Give it a 5mp cam with good software (some of them have been rather flaky of late, N96 AF is not good, N85 and others had serious noise problems, etc). Lens cover! Make black be available from release date! But otherwise keep it exactly the same. Same dimensions etc. And I'll buy it the second its released. Im really taken with the 5800, which has suprised me no end. I simply love using this phone. Imo, Nokia have finally made the transition from functional to functional and fun.

With those specs you're looking at a more pricey N series though, rather then say, a 5900.

Possibly, but my expirences with N series have not been great tbh.
Trouble with it being an N series is they feel they have to add something else - like the slide out qwerty on the N97. I want it to stay largely the same - I love the form factor and size of the 5800. |

If the 5800 had the N82 camera + lens cover I would be a very happy man. FM transmitter not that critical for me.

Is for me, as I loved it when I briefly had my N85, it was a way to stop burning CDs for the car.

Other than that I think the form factor of this phone is ideal. |

To be honest I think I'd be happy if it just had the FM transmitter. The camera quality seems pretty good to me for a 3.2. Even works quite well in low light.

I know its off topic but is the 5800's screen multitouch? As in say in a drawing application you can draw two lines at once

I'm finding the camera just wont cut it, I've even booted up the n95 just to take a picture a few times now. I do LOVE the 5800 though, so yea, this form factor with a 5mp camera and we're there.
