Adaptive text. Narrows down the keypad to contain only those letters needed to complete the name.

Probably only really more helpful for those with large phone books. I'm finding it easier then scrolling through hundreds entries.

Watched the videos that came loaded discovered that clicking screen next to battery meter brings up your connectivity options.

Oh, I see. I still cant get along with T9, so I'll carry on using scroll.

Did you not know that about the connectivity shortcut? Tsk tsk!

I presume you know about tapping the network name/date area brings up another list? Open calender, or change the profile.

And obviously, prodding the clock brings up the time settings (new alarm, world clock etc).

im generally loving it - see my ongoing review blog hello 5800
but my negatives would be mostly aimed at S60 5th edition rather than at the 5800 itself.

theres some clunky interface elements - the touch vs double touch is confusing at times
again you can have to click on entry boxes twice to activate them - the OS assumes you may have a real keypad as well. (even the navigation arrow sometimes briefly appears in the web browser).

The contact app STILL CUTS OFF ADDRESSES
sorry for the caps but this has annoyed the hell out of me since the N70.
the only way to view an address in full is to edit it!
STILL!!

just realised this - and am adding it to my blog in 60pt blinking text!! ;)

they are niggles
