yeah mate ill go through the whole stores supply if theyll let me , i doubt they will let me open that many boxes though , but hey heres hoping :-)

my mate works in tmobile and when the nokia rep bought the 5800 round to show the staff of the shop they did mention the build quality wasnt the best for nokia to say that surely its got to be a bit on the iffy side??

iam pretty sure mine wasnt like that either logan , i only got it yday and was looking all over the device for noises and light leakages but didnt find any and was quite impressed with its build quality untill about 1-2 hours ago :-)

hope i can find one i like because i got the hang of it properley today and it was quite a nice phone to use and makes a change from buttons the touch seems to work pretty well indeed even with just a finger as an input device :-)

Nope, Blue as well, so I'm told... Bought direct from Nokia UK... As was mine.

As far as I can tell from this, there doesn't even seem to BE a clip situated on the top right-hand corner of the front cover!!

hey spook , its a tricky angle to tell in that shot there does seem to be alot of clips so i wouldbt be suprised if there was some on the top of the device maybe at least two clips , but that pic is not the best angle to see the top of the device so it is hard to say

if you look at the top picture , its the bit we are having troubles with , it would need flipping round as its backwards that would make the clip/screw bit fit right in the top right corner

the left handside would sit below the top left corner more along the top of the side of the phone

have a look i think youll understand what i mean

I agree but it's the best pic that I have... The worrying part is that the instructions say to release the BOTTOM snaps and the TWO on the sides... No mention AT ALL of any snaps on the TOP of the phone!

I'm presuming that the larger protrusions are the 'snaps' and the smaller bits are only locating lugs... It's not looking too promising so far!

Mmmm, Interesting. This, and the build quality issues of the N85 is worrying.
