could people check their 5800s for me please

my 5800 has "the gap" too.

it was quite useful when i removed the front of the phone to fix the speaker as it gave me a starting point. however, i do have problems with dust on the screen sometimes.

maybe i'll buy one of those cheap, knock off complete covers sets and replace the lot. they probably copied the Nokia and actually made it better!

Mine still hasent got a gap like in the pictures in this thread but light does show through when the backlight is on in the dark, But i keep my phone in the case that was supplied with the phone most times so mabey thats pushing it down and stopping it opening?

My 2nd 5800 dosent have this gap , its really well built , no light leaks , no gaps , quite impressd with the build quality of this one , its from the same shop and same country as my other one i sold and even has the same product code maybe i was just lucky this time

i recently bought the new 5800xm but i also have the same gap and nokia care peoples are saying that this is a common thing so they are not helping me that's why rather than accepting to live with this gap i decided to sue nokia in consumer court and send a legal notice to nokia head office in india
