OVI Suite vs PC suite

I have just installed Nokia OVI Suite on my PC.

It lacks a feature I was using loads with PC Suite, i.e. with the phone connected to the PC I could read and write sms/mms messages very quickly easily. I loved that.

So do any of you guys know is OVI and PC suites can co-exist happily on one machine?

I don't understand why Nokia have not included this facility in OVI.

Yes, PC Suite and Ovi Suite can be installed at the same time.

Anyone know which is better? I mean I just used the already installed latest PC Suite I was using with my N95.

I swear by Nokia PC Suite 7.1 Having Beta test this, its very stable now.

I have not tried the latest version of OVI Suite, however, I did try the first version that was released, and experienced it being quite a drain on my laptops resources.

From my experience of PC suite and the quick look at OVi i've had today, i'd say that althought there is some overlap, PC suite is more the work horse and OVI the multimedia one...

I personally prefer PC Suite
I agree Ovi is multimedia based but also what I can do with Ovi
is already intergrated on the mobile. Thus being a bit redundant

definitely pc suite. I think ovi suite is still a bit crude if you get me. I find it hard to use, plus if i only want to transfer files its easier to just use windows explorer

Nokia Music: quite an impressed with it. 3Gb of music transfered to the phone fairly quickly, decent user interface and it found the album artwork for the tracks that did not have it already...
Except it didn't transfer it to the phone!!! Once again...same old issue!

I mean you'd think that isn't exactly the most complex thing to make work! So if I can be bothered, I am going to have add it manually via some other software...So frustrating!

Okay, so we are all in aggreance that PC Suite is much better than OVI but how do you use PC Suite instead of OVI? I currently have a Nokia N8 and prefer to use PC Suite instead of OVI. Please help
