I've changed by product code following this guide Change product code on Nokia 5800 / Debrand Nokia 5800 ExpressMusic

All worked and NSU shows the 20.0.012 software as available. But every time it tries to download, it gets to maybe 15Mb done and says "Downloading update failed".

Is it just a bad day for Nokia's servers?

Download worked this morning and now on v20.

Seems pretty good so far. Screen rotation definitely faster. Web browser seems to not store cookies now though - was working before...

I can on some sites. Just other dont seem to want to work.

Just tested my online banking with a E71 and it works fine but on the 5800 v20 it doesnt. It worked in v11 so maybe its a bug.

I've had similar problems on my N95 and had to clear all privacy data in the browser - not just cookies.

Will try that later. Fixed it on the N95, so maybe its just a buggy browser and the local privacy data store can get corrupted.

Clearing all privacy data in the browser worked - cookies now work.

This is a browser bug that affected the N95 too. Appears the local privacy store gets corrupted somehow and has to be cleared before cookies will store.
