By the way, just to confirm the way that I lean so to speak, I can confirm that in my lifetime I have owned 3 Motorolas. I even knew a guy who used a Lobster. Tolerance in walks of life, that is my motto. If the man wants to publicise Apple via his new Nokia then so be it.

If the guy wants to use an apple logo, so be it. It's his phone ffs. He has posted something benefitial to anyone wanting to change the startup image and/or sound. To get back to topic, has anyone else tried this and have it working?

Personally, if I had an Apple-Fan aquaintance (which I don't), then I'd be sorely tempted to use the same start-up logo as the OP.

Imagine their reaction when the 5800 first started up... Especially if it then booted into this screen!

The only issue I have is that Windows users think that nothing exists outside XP or Vista - not unlike the nation of their origin.

If you want to pursue this line of sectarianism, carry on. Unfortunately, I have friends with phones made by Sony and Siemens (that I know of) and I intend to carry on talking to them.

i wasn't carrying out ANY sectarianism i was merely pointing out a fact of the rivalry and you go OTT on one which is laughable to say the least!

I also have friends with SE, Moto, LG, Apple and Samsung handsets and i couldn't care less what phone they have, just because i've spoke of a rivalry doesn't mean i adhere to it does it?

Anyway back to the post it all bit of fun at the end of the day lol and the apple boot screen was the frist think to come in my head nice easy and fast to make i am do more as time go by here the next one i will be uploading soon
