I find that if I let it get a lock and then switch it off it gets a very fast lock if I stay in the same rough area. If I switch it off and move to another area it can take a bit longer, but still vastly improved over the N95.

Quick update - O2 have obviously approved firmware v20 so was able to update via NSU a couple of days ago. I must say the GPS performance has improved dramatically - a fix in less than 20s from cold seems to be normal now!
