Nokia maps full postcode search is back

It looks like Nokia has reinstated the full postcode search facility on Nokia Maps. I flashed my N96 on Wednesday to the latest firmware, installed Nokia Maps V3 and tried the search and discovered it searched on full postcode. Previously the search was truncated to the first 4 characters of the postcode. I've now tried this on my 5800 and it also searches on the full postcode. Anyone else noticed this ??

Just tried on my 5800 (Maps v2 obviously) and it does bring up results based on full post code, i.e. exact building, despite showing at the top of the screen only the first 5 characters. Will try tonight my N82 which is running Maps V3.

Fixed here too, sort of.

Doesn't work if I leave a space in. A bit at odds to most satnav software.

So the full post code with no gap between the 4 letters/numbers and the 3 letters/numbers?

Thats odd. I tried my old home address with a gap, didn't work, nothing found.

Tried my work address with a gap, nothing found.

However trying both without gaps, it worked (right on the postcode, not area or district).

Blooming Nokia Maps, glad I don't rely on it!

You don't need a lock to do a search - I can't get a lock in our building either but the search still works.
