Custom Operator Logo on 5800, possible?

Hi experts!

Does anyone know how to add a custom operator logo to the 5800?

If so what software do I need and what size does the logo need to be (in pixels).

I've read about using FExplorer but that only appears to work for older models.

The reason I asked is that i've switched to the 3 network and the screen looks very dull with just "3" up there.

As i have a version of Op Logo Changer but the certificates expired, i can upload if you wish?

I don't know what size or in what format op logo's need to be but this app can make your op logo transparent.

Now, i've just been reading up on it at another forum and it doesn't look good.

The certs expired and un-signing it then re-signing it with another cert doesn't work, it's only installing on hacked devices and as i've seen from your first post thats not gonna happen.

Maybe someone else knows of another op logo app?

not sure about the 5800.. bt when i was using my 6680, which i got from O2 UK, u can find the logo in one of the folders.. editing that file will do.

In 6680, it is in C:\System\Apps\OpLogo

but i dont see tht folder in my 5800.. perhaps a different location. anyone here has any idea where it may be? my phone currently does not have a operator logo, and simply displays the name of the operator.. perhaps thts y i dont see the oplogo folder..

The name of your operator is the op logo mate.

Anyone found a answer, im with Orange (im afraid) and using the new mac osx theme and my 'orange' logo makes it look stupid, really want to getrid of it
