Hey developers! Chance for money.

Now Ovi is up, why not make an app lots of people will buy?

Simply make one for the 5800 to have an extra 4 (or maybe even 8 if they want) extra shortcuts on the home screen.

I'd happily pay £2 odd for that. As would many others I bet.

I know about handyshell, but that just doesn't work for me. Too busy, and not enough customisation.

Nothing flash, just some more shortcuts. The same size as the others.

Cmon, make an app everyone wants. With around 70% from the sale, whats stopping you?

I couldn't have LESS ability to write apps etc, but at a guess something built in Flash would be the easiest way for a full screen app with more shortcuts. Switch to/from it using the red button like HandyShell.

Will be interesting to see what is sparked from a delivery method for developers to get their apps to market via Ovi.

That's just too busy for me G, plus handyshell seemed pretty flakey when I tried it.

When i did have handyshell, I wasn't able to customise the shortcuts, not all of them anyway.

Well if you get it let me know and i'll send over the mod file, you will need Handy Shell installed for it to work obviously.

You can on this one mate, the icons on the top anyway, the others can't be touched.

Ta G, but I uninstalled it, and haven't bought it (it was when it was free for a while or something). Besides, it's the other icons I want to change. Handyshell is a tad overpriced imo, considering not all is customisable.

If I could just have 4 more icons, exactly the same as those above (same size, same way of choosing what they are), I'd be very happy. It wouldn't make the screen look cluttered either.
