If you are using a Nokia 5800 to browse the Ovi Store there is an update to the client application that you can now download and install. On your device, go to the Download menu and refresh the catalogue. A new version of the Ovi Client will be made available to you.

Done that, nothing happened, no OVI Store client showed up.

ill post here just as its a recent ovi store thread. but when do you reckon ovi will contain all of nokia own applications like the stuff on beta labs, maybe have iplayer on there, device status, youtube app, gmail ,ebuddy,opera, google maps. there just seems to be so many things that could be there that aren't. i suppose with the stuff they do not own might not be their fault, the company may not want anything to do with nokia but for their own stuff it would be so much better. i hope when is up to full operation this will happen
