So if you want all those (home screen widgets, better scrolling, better camera) why didn't you wait for the N97?

I find mine great, all it needs is a better camera and i'd be even happier.

PS.
GPS is very fast on mine, and it looks very very nice now with Maps 3.0!

So Why the 5530 will have better home and better scrolling than 5800?

I do not understand the policy of nokia.. no no!!

It seems that 5800 will be abandoned in itself...The 5880 has the ability to use widgets, Why nokia not add them?

I Don't buy N97 because I don't like the keyboard of this phone.. I like phone totally touch like IPhone(bu I ate Apple!)...

Newer phones having better features is called product evolution my friend. If you wanted all of those things then why buy a music phone?

5800 was never sold with those features so why expect them automatically ?

The 5800 is far from being forgotten by Nokia as it is currently the best selling handset .

just because they haven't added features from other devices doesn't make bad firmware.

The stability and scrolling accuracy is very good and any additional features added in firmware are just a bonus as they were not features sold with the device.

GPS is fast on mine too, that's with Maps 2.0 or Google Maps.

IS Maps 3.0 a pay for upgrade or free?

if Nokia kept upgrading their phones to include the latest technology/features, i'd still be using my 5110!

It's free to download and install but navigation needs to paid for as in previous versions.

but the 5800 is designed to use widgets and configure the home like a N97 or 5530!!!!

I bought a phone that costs € 330 and I expect a lot from it.... 330 EURO not 330 bread crumbs!!!

...And In Technologies if the productor do not update the software means that the product is dead!

It seems that Nokia should want abandon the 5800 for N97 and 5530,Because there are few differences between 5800 and N97.. and It isn't fair!!!

And I'm not the only that think this!!!

Did you not know what you were buying? The 5800 was never intended to have N97/5530 style widgets thus it never came with them and still doesn't have them, they are updating the software - this doesn't mean that they should include new features free that differentiate this product from the next version - stability/speed/refinement comes with software updates.

If its "not fair", sell it and buy a different product that better suits your expectations. Obviously read about it in detail before coughing up any more breadcrumbs.

But there is not another phone like 5800 that I like!

If nokia will release a new firmware that contains the upgrade that I have mentioned, the 5800 will be a perfect phone for me (and for other users that think like me)!
