5800 Application Problems
Hi,
Something strange has happened to my 5800, last week all of my text messages deleted themselves and the ringtone defaulted to the Nokia tune. Since then very few of the applications on my phone work correctly. The internal web browser works fine but Nokia Maps, Garmin Sat Nav and the Gmail client don't work properly.The applications all load but Maps and Garmin fail to obtain a GPS location and gmail doesn't download any emails. In addition, BBC iPlayer requires a reinstall every time I wish to use it but Google Maps works ok. Can anybody help? Thanks!

Sounds like a hard reset needs to be done mate.
You will lose all data doing this so back up first.
