Looking for a E71?

found these deals on the net going right now, buy.com seems to have lowest price cuz of 2 day shipping or free at newegg/buy.com if you want to wait couple days

buy.com=396.80 2 DAY shipped or free shipping, using paypal $15 off the DEC 19th
PayPal - Buy.com

newegg.com=399.55 2 DAY shipping using code EMCBCBKAC

and also cashback available from live.com, you have to choose the store you are buying from and continue shopping (never tried)

buy.com and newegg have the lowest price, costco has it GRAY only for 379.99 but you have 90days to take it to a costco location and get all your money back, it's the best option if you are unsure of keeping the phone =)

Provantage has it for $364.

Dell.com has it for $379.

Newegg has it for $368- not sure what you were looking at for $399....?

MobileCityOnline has it for $369.

As far as the $50 gift card goes- there are quite a few places offering those discounts (Nokia's is actually $50 for selected handsets, and $75 for handset + accessory), but you have to purchase a specific accessory (very much doubt an AC adapter counts, this generally means a headset or something) and fill out a redemption form. The offer from Nokia is when you shop at Nokia.com- Amazon has their own thing going, but same thing AFAIK- you have to fill out a form for it. It won't happen automatically.

those places charged me taxes, I'd rather pay for 2 day shipping, and never went through checkout at amazon to check final price since other places have the handset at a "lower" price.

the gift card terms don't specify the accessory but anyways if I get it good if not I'll still be happy before christmas.

here's the online form:

First Day:

Well the phone looks very slick, the white parts are perly white like a car and it has a nice finish (i was thinking it was going to be all white and no glossy), feels slippery but the back finish pattern lets you get a grip of the phone.

The keys are small but I got used to it, the center button is big and the buttons feel very comfortable... coming from a N95 expereicne...

I left it on my desk to research on how to move data and it amazed me when the center button started to glow O.O'' yeah... until just a moment I found out that it's a notifier that turns slowly on and off, what a nice touch!, the box came with a pouch and a landyard, everything ready to use.

the usb cover it's like in the way sometimes but i don't care, I just can't get too picky, the software is 10x faster! it feels like a real phone now, it has some transitions when you open the menus, but that's it, not when you open the menu or other full screen apps.

It's hackable, I did it on the first day =D "Thx Dayene!"

Dayene helped me with some questions that I had =)

the mail button on the phone didn't work since I installed Nokia Messaging, I had to go to settings and change it to E-Mail

I remapped some keys to make the media player accessible and the browser easier to navigate:
Make Full Use Of The Volume & Mute Keys On The E71 | Symbian-Guru.com

Psiloc Connect didn't worked on the E71 but I installed another one called Birdstep Smatconnect which is free btw, the mobitubia didn't work but I can still see youtube on the browser.

I am so happy with my purchase, these are the phones that Nokia should make and doesn't matter if they are N or E Series.

It look like the AT&T in US will get the E71 in 1 April
(lol the fools day)
and the even longer-rumored E71x -- which may simply be known as the E71 by the time it launches -
- should drop by at the beginning of next month
from Verizon's Nokia Intrigue, AT&T's E71, LG Zenon, and others expected shortly
