IMHO Nokia made a mistake in the design of this phone.

They boosted the clock speed from the n95 by about 10% but they cut the RAM by over 30%.

Hopefully they will follow the same path they did with the N95 and release an 8GB model (better yet a 16 GB) with more RAM.

Possibly, though surely that would really cut into N96 sales, because then the N96 really has nothing over the N85 at all, bar a very small screen size increase.


I have to admit, Im quite worried about the build quality for the N85. Almost all Nokias recent models except the E series have not been very encouraging.

I really dont like the look of it either, but that will be outweighed if all bits perform as advertised.

Bloody shame it doesnt have xenon though.
