N85 Questions

Hi There!

I see NaviWheel mentioned but I can't figure out how to work/enable it, doesn't work like I see the demo's working?

Breathing? What is this, how do I enable it?

I have 2-3 copies of some of my contacts if I specify to show the sim contacts. When the simcard is in my n95 I don't have this problem.

The screen goes completely unreadably black when not in use (very short delay), how can I make it behave like my n95-8gb?

How do I turn off the wlan scanning on/off notification on the main screen?

Settings / General / Naviwheel - options are there. Have to say i've got both turned off! Breathing just emits some light from the navi-wheel, presumably to let you know that the device is still on!

Did you transfer the contacts using the Sim, or using Switch/PC suite?

Settings / General / Personalisation / Themes / Power Saver, then select your chosen screensaver (my chosen one is 'Now Playing'), then you will get a fully-lit screensaver for an hour! :)

With the Navi Wheel turned on, You move your finger clockwise and anti clockwise around the centre navi key. This will scroll through the menus etc, it's very sensative and not something I use at all.

Breathing function illuminates the 5-way navigational button and flashes every few seconds as if breathing. It should switch on and off depending on your theme. And also should change it's breathing pattern if you have an SMS or missed call. But this seems to be model type dependant.

To change the length of time is takes for your screen saver to activate if at all. Go To :

Menu - Tools - Settings - Personalisation - Display - Light time out - Change.

Also if you have power save enabled you can set that here too.

You can't turn just that one off, only all of it. You can change what it displays, or remove it all by following :

Menu - Tools - Settings - General - Personalisation - Standby Mode - Standby Theme - Set to Basic
