I hope it wasn't just a glitch and it's a feature but it's growing more and more unlikely judging by the general response on here ?
Will do. Just started. Got bluetooth switched on and now watching BBC iPlayer streaming over WiFi. Taking screenshots at each stage so we have times to go by.

My results are as follows.

Started with the battery at 100% (plugged charger in and got the two beeps notifying full battery). Entered power saving mode and switch bluetooth on. The whole time my N85 was connected to PC Suite via bluetooth. Start time was 10:47.

I loaded up BBC iPlayer and began watching an hour long program streaming over WiFi. Image below shows the WiFi connection active.

Then I began downloading Top Gear. Time was 11.52.

Download completed at 13:08. And as you can see, down to three battery bars.

Switched power saving mode off and battery still reports three bars.

EDIT: Just re-read your first post. I just turned my phone off (power saving mode was enabled). Turned the phone back on, power saving mode disabled automatically. Now showing two battery bars.

I can't replicate your 'bug'. I'm going to keep it in power saving mode and play music till the battery tells me its low, then try turning off and on and see what happens.

Thanks Logan, that's perfect. When the power saving mode is flashing low. Turning off for around 1-2 hours and then turning back on is what I did.

Thanks for taking the time..

Well I let it go virtually flat (down to one bar). Switched it off and on again (can't leave it for a couple of hours like you did) and it was still showing only one bar.

Tell you something though, its taken the best part of THREE hours to become fully charged again!

That's super interesting that mate. I can't explain why mine behaved in this manner at all. Only thing I can say is it was a faulty Power saving mode reading ?

It does took a bloomin long time to charge, I agree!!
