N85 Screen
Hey guys.
I've read someone that the N85 has a OLCD or something like that, I'm not 100% sure...
anyway to cut a long story short whats the differance bewteen one of them and a regular LCD off eBay? reason I'm asking is because anger took the best part of the the other day and I threw my phone broke my LCD and snapped the case so I've gotta get a new case and LCD off Evilbay..
cheers for any heads up

I don't know about the screens on evil bay but you are better off going through a distributor for parts, if you are going to buy a case off the bay the ones that sell fo roughly 45 US are the higher quality ones and are realy good. here are a couple of links to places that sell good quality repair parts.

Also there is a member on the forums that does Nokia repairs real reasonable search the posts you'll find him. good luck

Unless it's been altered to LCD... Which I believe is neither possible nor even desirable as the OLED screen gives a better contrast picture and uses less power than LCD, then your N85 has an OLED display as standard.
BTW As Jagg11 has said, buy your components from a reputable source, making sure that they are OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts... You'll save money in the long run!

the ones on the bay may be claimed as a replacement, but for the prices they claim I don't know if I would take the chance. a lot of the parts are from overseas and by the time you get them and find out that hey dont work or are the wrong part the headache isn't worth it. the case sts that run about 45-50 buks are great I bought one to swap my phone from copper to black, and it was the second one the first was a cheap 10 dollar one and it was garbage. what case parts do you need, I have a few of the original nokia copper parts from my swap. pm me with what you need
