N85 won't start and maybe damp

    Any one help me here.
I left my ph in the bathroom and when i picked it up it was covered in condensation but working.
This morning it wasn't. Keypad just didn't work. Now when try to turn it on I just get the Nokia screen for 2-3 seconds then turns off, comes back on again, goes and then I briefly have my home screen then shuts altogether.
have taken battery out for a couple of hours and nothing. Left it on the charge and nothing. Removed the memory card and nothing. Even tried the green, * and 3 button and nothing.
Any advice on how to know if its damp and if it is, how do u go about drying it out?
    Any help, much appreciated.
    Mike

Welcome to the forums Mike, I have replied to your PM, suggesting you should remove the battery right away, and place in a warm dry place for a few days, then additionally place the device, with battery still removed, and back cover, in a tub with sealable lid of uncooked rice for a further few days.

To find your Nokia Firmware version, key *#0000#. The V##.#.### shown is your current Firmware! Please add these details with Nokia model to your profile. This information will help others help you. Thank you.!

    Thanks Mickey

I did all what you suggested for about a week. Ended up getting a big bag of silica gel from a furniture store and kept that in a sealed bag with the ph.Took it to the nokia service agent where they said the main board had had water on it, so that was correct diagnosis. They couldn't do any thing with it. I left it in my car which gets quite hot due to where I live. About 2 weeks later it started up again and is working fine now. (Had a small issue with the battery charge to start with but seems ok now).
Moral of the story, don't get the bloody thing wet...and don't throw it out until its totally dry.
