Nokia PC Suite v.7.1.51.0 and N8

I recently installed the updated v.7.1.51.0 to my PC and now after receiving and connecting my new N8 I receive the message "The connected device is not supported by Nokia PC Suite, use Nokia Ovi Suite". Iīm used to PC Suite as I think itīs more friendly and complete than Ovi Suite and NPC Suite has functions as the file manager that are not in Ovi. So, my question is if I can uninstall this version and reinstall a former version and which one of these former versions wouldl be compatible with the N8?. Thanks in advance for your help or advise.

I installed the former version as advised by dogfox and works fine with N8. What I donīt understand is why Nokia updates PC Suite without previously advising that it wonīt be compatible with N8, being N8 its flag and newer phone. Maybe for commercial reasons they think that using Ovi people will buy applications from Ovi Market. If so, they are wrong.

I think you have it in one. Nokia's high end future is like lots of others 'cloud based' and Ovi is Nokia's portal to it's cloud. They must realise that making users use Ovi rather than PC suite takes away choice and frustrates them, but they either care none or want to push Ovi. Who really knows what the corporate mind of the 'Espoo Mafia' really thinks ?
