Can anyone activate "theme effect" in Themes section ?

The most important to apply Kastor Effect on N82 and other FP1 FW is active Theme Effect, because on N82, this func now show in theme section. When i try using the "Show hidden menu" patch with Rom Patcher, it show perfect but cant chose.

Any solution for this ? I love Kastor UI and hope that available on my N82, but No don't do that ? Why ? All Sony Ericsson device was still buit in ( from low ( as W200 ) to high, but why Nokia dont bring that to us ?

Theme Effects was in v.20 firmware but was then absent in v.30 and v.31.

Really? I didn't know that. Were their menu transitions and etc, or was it just an option that really didn't do anything? I was on v20.x firmware for a long time, but never looked much at my themes, tbh.

Wow, if this true, i think need to downgrade FW to V20.0.062 :D.

Can anyone test patch KastorUI with FW20 ?

There was no transistions but i remember the option being there....what it was there for i don't know.

Could somebody confirm that it work with the Nokia N82 on V.20 ?

If it worked, i will update to V.20, if not than i will stay on v.11 until it will.

I dont want to update to v.31 because i really want that transitions...

What type of effects? I'm using ThemeDIY and used the menu effects on my N82 v.31. Don't know if it's the same thing you guys are talking bout though.

There weren't really menu transitions. In the original themes, the icons are placed at an angle. With theme effects turned on, they would turn all the way to face you when you move around within the menu. Nothing exciting really, just slowed stuff down if you ask me. I'm glad they got rid of it. The theme icons are now moving towards a more flat look on all the new devices, I prefer the new look.

I have the new Nokia N86 theme, I like that theme a lot...plain and simple :)

could you go to v.20 and check it for me, or it would be easier and better if you could ask anyone, maybe anyone of your friends ?

I really want to know if it would work with the v.20-Firmware.

If you dont have the Firmware, then you should download it via FirmTool.
