Packet Data Connection Always On After Orange Update
I was having a problem where my N82 wouldn't connect to the internet and would just say 'Connection Not Available'. Orange sent me an update by SMS and this fixed the problem, I can now connect. However, now the packet data connection is always idling even when not in use with only Standby in the programs in use menu.
Has anyone else experiened this or does anyone know how to remedy this? Thanks. I'll phone Orange back up too.

I don't have access to an N82 but you should be able to enter something along the lines of the following...
Settings/Connectivity/Admin.settings/Packet data... and then select 'When needed', I'm guessing that you have it set to 'When available' instead.

It's actually set on when needed. I think it might be a bug in the update Orange gave me.
