How to hard reset? (SMS Resend Problem)

Dear all,

Im new to this forum but not to phones and symbian :) I joined this forum to solve my problem which actually i fugured out my self that my phone was not sending sms. Im engineer core operations of the operator whose sim I am using! so I had no doubt that there was any prob with my sim but the phone!
The settings were all perfect but still no sign of TX\RX of anysignal when msgs were sent. This is the final solution for it!

It is also solution to bypass new N82's User Data Loss Prevention system. Which actually if you want to lose data (means reset phone settings) you cant!
so

1. i tried using *7370# code or reset to defaul setting but it didnt worked
2. i has latest firmware 31 so i downloaded NSU and reinstalled the whole firmware but it didnt worked
3. Atlast i remembered the Nokia 6600 code for formating :) and it worked like a charm

* + 3 + Green Button + Power ON = hard reset (bypass data loss)

so the biggest reset on this phone is this one! as you tend to loose all the settings to original!

I have used *#7370# to hard reset my N82 and it does wipe the phone completely regardless of UDP, so something must have gone wrong when you tried.

May be! i tried 7370 on a v30 firmware!

and please note this * # Green Power thing is not two years old but like 6+ years old when first symbian came! the thing i wanted to share with all was that if some one is having problem with SMS failure or any other and you want to revert the phone! This is the solution!

I hope people understand my point!
