My N82 reboots if i click on ..

I've had my n82 for about 2 years and today, suddenly, the phone keeps rebooting but only after i press on any of the numbers on the keypad only in idle screen (0-9 including * and #).
Any suggestions?

I think you should back up and hard reset seeing that you wont be able to soft reset. Back up using pc suite or memory card then remove memory card, switch off press and hold *,3 and green button while powering the phone up. If that doesn't work i say you take it for repairs

All settings will revert to factory settings, basically as you received the handset as it was new. You will lose all information that you have put on the phone- contacts, photos, ringtones, etc. plus any applications you have installed to the phone memory. Please note this will affect only your phone memory, not the memory card.

The N82 hat UDP(user data protection) which will keep some of the files that you put on it yourself but I haven't come across anyone who knows just how effective this is so you must back up EVERYTHING that you want to keep

Yeah it does have UDP but thats only good if you update the software, you don't need to back up but it's also stupid not to if it goes wrong, which it never did for me.

UDP won't save anything if you hard reset.

I believe this is cause by an application as it happened to me too, however after it reboots, i can use it just fine, it only happens when i power on the phone after turning it off or taking out the battery.
