Question Bad bluetooth and Wi-Fi reception

Anyone have problems with this? In order to see the wifi network i have to stand really close to the transmitter (2-3m) and bluetooth is not working if the phone is more than 15cm away. I don't know if it's just my device or it is a common issue.
I had "emerging asia" code, then switched to EURO1 and updated fw to v11.

Hmmmmm. Seems this is some kind of device failure. I should get it to NOKIA service ASAP.

Cheers!

I have been happily using my N86 without need for wi fi until recently. I have encountered problems every time I try to use my home system to connect to a web site. I have the phone configured to ask which connection to use each time I connect to a site and when I select my home wi fi the connection fails 95% of the time. I am actually quicker using wap on the phone. My previous N85 had no issues at all using the same method and system.

hi
is that problem begins after update to v11?

i've also got "emerging asia" code and v10 firmware right now because nsu wont update when i change product code (found update but says update error bla bla), and then i keep asking myself: do i really need update?!
coz everything is working perfectly right now including wlan, bluetooth, gps, there no restarting, freezing, slowdowns or similar..
that's amazing for first firmware on any phone.
i was wandering to update coz of "better camera performance". is there any true? anyone test it?
also reading other forums where people complaining what happening after update, so i don't know what to do.
what do you think?
tnx

i dont see a difference in the camera quality. Setting the flash to "auto" still results in lots of red eye. And setting the flash to red eye always results in a washed out colour pic!

it means there is no change in pic quality from v10 to v11?
any improvement in noise reduction on low light pics? maybe more details on pic?
what about video? seems very vell now on v10, but if may be better i'll go for it..

too bad.. but i think there will be updates of processing image algorithms in near future, coz sensor got potential.. and right now there is a bit too much compession on pic which cause loss of detail..

No. I had the problem before on v10. I came to conclusion that this is a hardware error, not the software.
Regarding v11 firmware you can find changelog here

Cheers!

Have just tried wifi connection and it worked ok from anywhere in house.
This is using a BT Hub which seems to be very simple and easy to connect to.
