Plenty:

1. Post in the relevant thread - N86 v.20.115 now available OTA!!!
2. Wait until it's available for your product code
3. Debrand

Phones4u do the same as CPW

they have their own product codes for products

so even though you think you have a generic phone it actually isn't completely generic...

I debranded my N96 because it was pathetic that i was still on v11 a year on!...

Sam, please think and check you facts before posting.

The other day you were telling someone with a S40 phone to hard reset using *#7370#, now you are saying that

0586171: N86 8MP Country Variant United Kingdom GB V1 Indigo

is a P4U product code which is simply not true. I got my N86 direct from Nokia Online and it has the same product code.

I have also never seen a P4U product code - CPW yes, but not P4U. I could be wrong here, but that's my experience so far.

Same difference - this doesn't work on S40 either.

I'll give you that one, I wasn't really that much into product codes two years ago.

This is getting way off the thread's topic, so last one from me - you cannot format a S40 phone neither with the 3-key method nor with *#7370#. They work only for Symbian, S40 phones just do nothing when you try it.

Now
