Can't define access point... N86 can't delete existing configurations...

    So I recently debranded my N86 8MP.

I did a hard reset first.

    I installed latest v30 firmware.

Most of the rogers branded stuff is gone, but some remains.

Specifically, whenever I'm at a "select connection" screen, i get 'search for wlan' - 'internet: rogers' - 'wap service - rogers'.

When I go to tools > settings > connection > destinations > internet , I see two rogers entries, which when I attempt to DELETE, it says 'restricted access'

When I go to connectivity > conn. mgr > wifi > select my network > define access point, I input WEP key, I choose 'internet' for its type, it doesn't seem to process it, i just returns me to the connectivity manager screen like nothing happened. The access point does NOT get define anywhere.

If i keep trying, i notice the conn. mgr app eventually crashes and i had to reset my phone to get it to close.

I feel like there are some rogers left over from the debranding messing with my WIFI configuration.

How should I go about reseting or fixing this?

Try a three-key hard reset, followed by a firmware reinstall via Nokia Suite.

I seem to remember having a similar problem once with my old N86- long time ago.

Maybe try switching the phone to offline then deleting all your access points and re-doing them. -I seem to remember that fixing my N86.

By switiching to offline, you are disabling access and therefore won't get an error message saying that you are using that data access point at that time.
