Let's see...

Bigger screen than the N97, check.

Faster processor, check.

Bigger battery... um, errrrr... what's that you say? 1320mAh.

i think i like this. Hoping for Tmobile usa to pick it up. I wonder if they redesigned the camera because of the n97 owners. see how its recessed a bit.

Glad I went for a cheap 5800 a while back - its perfect for what I want and means I can wait for something better...like this.

I don't think many people are appriciating how important this is.

This is big, this is bigger than any hardware announcement made this year.

Look at the screenshots - THIS is where Nokias developers have been.

This is why, quite frankly, everything else has been going to s**t.

I bet money that other resources have been taken away in favour of this.

Basically, Nokia are coming up against Android directly, more so than Apple.

I am now very interested in Nokia - open source, a completely redesigned OS that still maintains the full customisation and functionality that we are used to - Its what we have all been waiting for!!!

I have an Omnia HD on the way, but once the new Nokia handsets come out with this new OS on - I'm going to be the first in line to try once either a budget phone with it on comes out (like the 5800 was), or one that the specs suit my needs (high, but no qwerty).

Very very interesting news.

Totally agree Bart, this is the first Nokia in a while to get me interested.

Looks like the Sony Rachael and N900 are in my future...
