Just wait some time after the N900 have been release to see how it preforms from "real"users views
and acording to some reports they already work on a follow up to the N900.
The N920 but the later will likely take some time before it's out.

I guess it depends on what you mean, but in a word- VERY.

The N900 is lightning fast. This is a complete change from the older tablets. For as much as I love my N810, even photo browsing was a nightmarish task. The N900 is amazingly quick at everything I've seen so far, even with the pre-production software that I was using.

I'm definitely looking forward to playing with it more, especially now that there are ~300 of them in the hands of developers eager to produce their first work for Maemo 5. I say 'around' 300 because some of those were deposited in the hands of bloggers as well for the next 6 months, so we'll start hearing a lot more about the device from a user's perspective soon. As Tommie said, wait until you see more impressions and reviews from that group before you make a decision.

For me though, my mind is made up. It's not without its shortcomings, but it's a GOOD device.

the n920 is a keyboardless device and holds similar features to the n900...
not sure what features are improved/decreased upon as yet......but it seems
to be just a keyboardless variant....ie full touch....
the next device (after the n920) to be announced....well that where your focus(and savings)
should be going....but thats a good few months(think year) away.....
and there will be some symbian announcements that may catch some people off guard.....
btw this is all from Eldar.....so blame him and not me if it doesnt go that way.....
