Wow that kinda impresive with the music sound , and nice that the build quality
are better .
How do u like the keypad?
and your first impressions do it feel better then N95?

I know it's thinner and lighter than N95 8GB
Do you have some pics who can compare the size with diffrent devices ?

How's the battery?
What made you decide to buy the N96 instead of waiting for the N85?

I like the big screen, and I like the looks of the device- until I start touching it. Very easily and quickly collects fingerprints and smudges.

The keypad is okay- I prefer the N95 keypad though. There's also the annoying keypress bug in effect right now. Can't press two keys at the same time, so if you're fast two thumbed typist, you might have issues.

I'll get some comparison shots up hopefully later today next to N95, E71 and some others.

Hard to say anything about battery life just yet- I'll definitely revisit that.

I've not purchased this device- it's a trial unit.

hello N96 - Fat test vs N95 classic. *WIN! those mm (21 vs 18)...

it does not look much thinner - but believe me it feels it in the hand.
I would say its as well built as the N95 but somehow feels more fragile
due to the shiny 'britle' plastic
vs the metal and rubberised soft plastic.

looks wise i think its 100 times nicer - but theres a price to pay for those looks.

i personally love the new keypad.

hello N96 - THAT keypad. Personally I?m loving it. Your...

and i use the slide media buttons out of habit.

That confirms my suspicions. The N96 is currently the most capable Nokia phone for video.

Does it run on your N95? It doesn't on my N82, only get audio.

I'm using Konttori's Media Converter for my tablet stuff- works well on the N95, sadly haven't gotten so far as media playback on the N96 yet. :(
