Question N96 in my hand- any questions?

I've got an N96 over here if anyone has some questions they'd like to ask about it, I would be my pleasure.

I'll get some good shots of it up here tomorrow.

Congratulations mate!
1.How's the build quality on this model? Is it much better than the 95?
2.Do you still use the slide out multimedia keys as often now that they are on the navigation buttons as well?
3.Have you experienced any trouble with games? e.g. Quake
4.Are the speakers better than the 95?
5.How smooth is the Navi wheel?

mcbain-

Feels very wide- though it's not much wider than my N95-3. Doesn't feel as chunky as the N95 8GB, mostly because it is a good deal thinner.

Slider is very nice on this one. Very nice and tight. It is springy- like the N81, but it's solid, doesn't twist back and forth, no wobble open or closed.

Leong-

1. Initial impressions of the build quality are very nice- better than the N95? Yes, I would say so. I do miss the texture of the N95- there is a lot of glossy black here, and the fingerprints are pretty bad on this device.

2. Don't really use the slide out multimedia keys, no. The slider operated in this fashion does not change the orientation of the display- ASR seems to work pretty much everywhere. These might come in handy for games- some people might find them nice when using the media player in landscape mode...?

3. Haven't really gotten any games installed on it yet, and I haven't played any of the included games and trials. I'll get back to this for you later.

4. Speakers are nice- very loud. They're positioned at the top and bottom right of the device for better sound separation during landscape playback of media. Extremely crisp sound, better than the N95. Lows are near non-existent.

5. Navi wheel is, well... no-existent as well. No Navi wheel on the N96. It was scrapped somewhere along the production. There still remains a single option for it in the settings; Navi wheel breathing, on/off.

what does that mean? the N96 still has the hardware for it but Nokia just doesn't want to activate it?

Louder and more crisp than the N95 is my impression of the speakers. Very decent indeed.
