Just a quick question, With the codes supplied can they be used to debrand the N96 in the same way described in the N95 Upgrading Firmware When Not Allowed By NSU post using nemesis ?

Yes this should work. Haven't done it on an N96 but I read somewhere that it worked. Remember this will invalidate your warranty.

Micky, the O2 UK code is correct at 0573063 (just checked my phone)

Firmware update 11.018 is available too, as from yesterday.

My N96 which was delivered on 07/11/2008 has a product code: 0573802 - and is with O2 UK.

Firmware installed on the phone is 10.065 .. already had a couple of little lock-ups so far with it! ;-)

Unfortunately NSU is not showing any new firmware :-(

lol same problem with my nsu just got it back from nokia care they supposedly reloaded all the software/firmware because my n96 would crash while listening to music and could not connect it to the laptop (would not recognise).

after not having it since friday i finally got it back today and now it connects but nsu doesnt show an update... i spoke to nokia customer care... they supposedly referred it to someone higher... hahahaha
