    Debranding & Updating

I looked at the debraning thread and downloaded NSS. I have changed my product code to one that enables an update to version 20.050 but i didn have time to do it when i changed the product code.

Today i tried to use NSU to update but it wont recognise the phone, searches for ages. I opened NSS to check the product code but when i hit read, it says error in the bottom left. i hope nothing is majorly wrong.

Anyone have any advice on this, thanks.

    Hmm..

I couldn't change the prod code on mine with NSS - I used JAF Pkey emulator

    As per this post: http://www.n95users.com/forum/nokia-...-ca-101-a.html

Worked fine for me, although mine was already unbranded.

I thought NSS was giving you error when trying to read the code ?

I have already posted the product codes offering V20 for N96 here: http://www.n95users.com/forum/nokia-...tml#post208438

Pick one of the UK/Ireland ones depending on your phone's colour.
