Hands on at the Nokia Store
Went into the Nokia store today and sure enough they have a working N97 prototype you can have a play with.
I was on the fence regarding this phone, but I'm totally impressed, much faster than my N95 8GB, inuitive to use, great screen, touch screen more responsive than I was expecting and not as large as I thought it would be. So that's all my fears banished! But mainly I was impressed with the speed of the thing, it switches between screens instantly. I was 50/50 with the N97 and the Palm Pre, but that's all over, I want my N97 and I want it now! -Steve

Sounds great about the speed , is it better then the 5800?
And did you test the camera ?

Sorry Tommie, I've never used a 5800, and the one thing I didn't try was the camera, I did view some photos and video which looked great, but as I was walking away from the shop it hit me.. "Bugger.. didn't see how fast the camera starts.." because that's my main moan about the N95, slow camera start. I can't imagine it being worse then the N95 based on OS response.

the device is fast
faster than the 5800 forsure forgot to check the camera will do tomorrow and give my feedback @ everyone look at this link June 19th Live N97 Broadcast

roberth is it possible for you to check something else for me tomorrow relating to the browser on the N97?
I made the request here but I'm not sure it was explained too well Basically, I want to know if text on a page is re flowed to fit the screen when changing from landscape to portrait, or vice versa or when adjusting the zoom level. Let me know if you need any further info ... Thanks.
