N97 Reviews

Perhaps the biggest and most comprehensive yet ....

EDIT - After reading fully I have to say this is NOT a good review IMO, which seems to be echoed by the user comments at the end. Some good pics of the device though ...

Well, I have mixed feeling on this review after reading it fully.

Excellent pics and the phone is very well described in some areas. I can't help thinking that the editor somewhat of a Samsung Omnia fan though. How many times was that mentioned?!

And as for the camera section, he HAS to be have been using a pre-production model with iffy firmware, surely? I have seen some stunning pics taken with the N97 and from what I have seen this is one area that Nokia certainly have not let us down in!

The review started off well but I was left a little disappointed by the end - almost as if they had changed editir part way through. Still worth a read but I wouldn't take the comments too seriously as there were at least two errors I came across while reading (aside from the camera comments).

I have to agree mate, the whole review appears as though they had something against the actual device in the very first instance.

It was pretty surprising too, because, as I was reading it, it seemed positive at first, then it quickly switched into negativity. Oh well, that's a review. Some people like something, some don't. In the end, we, the consumers, makes the final judgement

Thanks for the review links - Haven't posted on here for ages, not at least since the merge - and I've only just really heard about the N97 through looking on here! Looking to upgrade my N95 as I've had it for a few years and it doesn't appear to support my 16gb MicroSD (even though it did up until a few weeks ago!) so I think I'm going to treat myself to the N97 for my birthday :D

IMO the best reviews will be compiling comments by regular average users that appear on this forum and others..Either responding to direct questions or just general comments
