Personally, I am taking this with a pinch of salt, in particular, the multi-touch, however, 1st of July V11 becomes available to early released handsets, so we will all soon find out one way or another.

Ahhh...I posted this in the GPS thread, but more appropriate here: Just wondering if anyone knows if the 3.0 map upgrade will be preserved in the firmware upgrade..or will it revert back to the 2.0...?

We know it works though, thanks to that tech demo/game Space Dancer that was posted around the web for the 5800 XM. It showed that S60v5 could be tricked into doing multitouch. I don't really need that, I just need call stability and for the phone to unlock when I toggle the switch. Give me that and I'm happy!

When the phone went through different primary connections for data, such as 3g packet, or Wifi, certain widgets became stuck in a loop where they continuously recieving a null from the previous connection method. The phone has a new feature for developers that 'shouts' when a connection is changed, in addition to lost. The widgets have been updated accordingly and we have updated our knowledge base accordingly.

Is this what causes AccuWeather to stop updating? I'm getting tired of having to manually refresh every hour or so.

Sorry to burst bubbles, but this sounds to good to be true because it is... A number of Nokia staffers are rubbishing this at various places around the net (like Mobile-Review).
